Host Profile: Em&Em

What's the name of your show?  Genreless

What's your show about and when does it air?   It airs on Wednesday from 4 pm-6 pm EST. What Genreless is all about is the tunes of today to the old classics and the ones in-between. We play our favorites, but would love to know what the listeners really want to hear.

Is there a story behind your on-air name?   My DJ name is Em'n'Em. I chose this because it's similar to my nickname, but I also really like Eminem songs.

How long has your show been on the air? Since 11/9/2016. Genreless may be a relatively new show, but it can still play any old classics.

What do you like to do in your spare time?   In my spare time I like to play Team Fortress 2, read fantasy/mystery books, or just hang out with my radio group.

Tell us about a funny incident that happened during your show.  There was this time where Lil DJ and I were signing on to our show. We had practiced this line many times outside of radio. And when we were just about finished, we realized we were not on air.!

Have you gotten any funny calls during your show?   I'm pretty sure we have had some, but I'm still waiting on the one that will win the prize.

If you knew you were going to be stranded on a desert island, what are 10 of the songs you'd want with you?

1. Work Shoes by USS
2. In The End by Black Veil Brides
3. Starlight by Starset
4. Telepathic by Starest
5. Lose Yourself by Eminem
6. Remember The Name by Fort Minor
7. Rise by SuperFruit (Katy Perry Cover)
8. Choke by Cauterized
9. Echo by JubyPhonic
10. Satellite by Nickelback

What is one of your most memorable concert experiences?   Well, I have only gone to two concerts so far. I would have to say the Rascal Flatts concert. It was nice to just relax with my family while we listened to our favorite childhood songs.

Tell us something about yourself that people might find surprising.   I am a black belt 2nd don, and in high school I was a drum major.
